I've spent sixteen years designing the systems people work inside — building teams from the ground up, most recently shipping twenty-six releases across eight modules, and now using AI to move faster without moving anyone out of the room.

A mortgage loan officer making a short video is a licensed advertiser, and almost nothing built for them treats it that way. I designed and directed an iOS app that lets one write a compliant script, read it off a teleprompter that follows their voice, burn animated captions and a regulatory disclosure card into the video on the phone, and publish it to three platforms in one tap. Behind it sits a web console where a lender writes its own compliance rulebook and the phone enforces it. Ten weeks, one designer, no engineers. AI agents wrote every line of the code and I wrote every line of the direction.

A house gets built out of thousands of small decisions and almost none of them have one owner. I designed the first two stages of a platform meant to hold all of them in one place: a plans canvas for measuring and placing finishes, an item schedule that carries the approval workflow, a design book for presenting selections, and a portal where the homeowner says yes. One item record underneath all of it, so a decision made anywhere is visible from everywhere.

I was Passport's in-house graphic designer when the mobile app was being built by an outside firm — at a rate high enough that development ran in quarterly bursts sized to leftover budget. I made the case to bring the design in-house, sourced a developer at a fraction of the cost, and redesigned the app around proximity. Then shipped a feedback loop that gave the business its first real view of user satisfaction.
